Tariq Riaz's journey into the world of fine jewellery is both unexpected and inspiring. Initially rooted in technology, with a degree in Computer Engineering and a successful career at tech companies, including the United States Air Force, Tariq's path shifted dramatically after moving to Abu Dhabi. The pivotal moment came when his wife’s wedding band became unwearable due to swelling during pregnancy. This common dilemma ignited Tariq’s passion for jewellery design, leading him to explore innovative solutions for expandable rings.

Despite having no prior experience, Tariq harnessed his CAD and 3D printing skills to reimagine jewellery. His determination paid off when he collaborated with a skilled artisan in Bali to create his first prototype. Encouraged by his wife's recognition of his newfound passion, he took the leap into jewellery design.

Over the next few years, Tariq focused on research and development, eventually launching his expandable jewellery line, which allows pieces to adjust in size for comfort. His dedication earned him awards and respect in the industry, as he continued to push the boundaries of traditional jewellery design.

Tariq's creations, such as the interactive rings from the “Duality Collection” and the breathtaking “Tipsy” necklace inspired by female writers, showcase his unique blend of technology and artistry.
