Tariq Riaz's journey into jewelry design was anything but conventional. Originally an engineer focused on robotics and design architecture, Tariq moved to Abu Dhabi, where a personal problem led him to the world of jewelry. His wife’s engagement ring became uncomfortable during pregnancy, and this challenge sparked his curiosity. After extensive research and rejection from various craftspeople, a craftsman in Bali finally helped him bring his idea to life. This experience fueled Tariq’s passion for jewelry design.

Determined to master the craft, Tariq studied at GIA and set up a state-of-the-art workshop in Abu Dhabi. His eponymous collection, launched at COUTURE 2021, has earned him awards for exceptional craftsmanship. One of his most notable innovations is the AbrazoFIT™, a mechanism that allows rings to expand for a perfect fit. His designs, influenced by nature, architecture, and his diverse experiences, are marked by surprises like interchangeable stones and intricate mechanisms.
